Tax Practitioner and IRS SEE Exam Coach

Ms. Battaglia's practice focuses on developing tax reduction strategies for helping taxpayers resolve IRS tax problems.  

Ms. Battaglia has experience servicing various individual clients, small businesses, and multi-billion dollar conglomerates for companies such as Intuit and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). 

Ms. Battaglia is an Enrolled Agent (EA). An EA is a federally-authorized tax practitioner with technical expertise in taxation and empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels—examination, collection, and appeals—of the Internal Revenue Service. She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Connecticut State University and is a member of ASTPS, NAEA, CtSEA, and AICPA. 

In August 2021, Ms. Battaglia received the distinguished National Tax Practice Institute™ (NTPI®) Fellow designation as recognized by the National Association of Enrolled Agents as an expert in taxpayer representation before the IRS representing individuals and business owners under audit and at appeals; prepares reasonable cause statements requesting penalty abatements; and all aspects of collection actions including Form 433A, negotiating installment agreements, and offers in compromise before the IRS and state taxing authorities.
